Objective : The purpose of this mission is for the operative to learn the function of, and how to locate a dead drop or dead letter box. "A dead drop or dead letter box, is a location used to secretly pass items between two people, without requiring them to meet. This stands in contrast to the live drop, so called because two live persons meet to exchange items or information." (See reference section) The operative will use the above listed coordinates and will use a common over the counter GPS (Global Positioning System) unit to locate the dead letter box. If the operative experiences a malfunction of the GPS unit, or cannot secure a GPS unit, the operative may also use maps.google.com to locate the dead drop. Once the dead letter box is located, the operative will open the dead drop and and log his or her visit to claim credit for finding the dead drop.

Supplies : Over the counter GPS unit, desktop or portable computer if needed.
