Geocache Description:

Cache and Dash, but with stunning view!

Faringdon is situated on the "Golden Ridge", which extends between Oxford and Swindon. The ridge is made of coral rich limestone, called Corallian limestone, which was formed during the Jurassic period, around 155 million years ago. From the top of the ridge, you look out across the flat, Oxford Clay Vale, which was once the floor of a tropical sea! From the viewpoint, you can see for miles on a good day! This area can have a high muggle count, so the difficulty is a 2. We think it is wheelchair accessible, but help may be needed for retrieval. BYOP!
