THIS IS A PRIVATE HOUSE - Please do not enter the grounds!
The Church is pleasantly situated on the village green, and is a
small ancient edifice, with a wooden spire. It was built in the
reign of Edward I. Like many other redundant churches around the
country, this 12th century church has been converted into a private
residence. The conversion has been quite sympathetically done and,
although it seems a shame that such action has been carried out, it
is better than demolition.
After you have completed this cache I can recommend The
Compasses for a pint and a bite to eat!
The cache is a small green screw-top container about the size of
a 35mm film can. Please replace as found.
NOTE: The church is now a private house and you do not need
to enter the grounds to find the cache.
