The only view near the cachesite
This is the most unusual section of the Millennium Walk as it is a footpath that leads to a ... Dead End - hence the cache name. Your only choice having reached the end, an open field, is to turn back. There is nothing of any significance down this path - not even a fantastic view. It does however add a mile to the Millennium Walk. The only thing you might get out of this section is stung by NETTLES in late Spring/Summer.
The full walk is 8.6 miles although it can be broken down into smaller walks. The Western half of the route where the cache is hidden is 4.6 miles along a flattish Bridleway. There are better views to the South from this pathway. (See attached map).
While on this section why not take in
Millennium Meander II (GCQ196)
Millennium Meander V - Airys Legacy Revisited (GC1RFC0)

The Cache
The cache is a small camouflaged vitamin pill container with a logbook, pen, small swaps etc. It only has room for small swaps or trackables. Please ensure you hide it back securely where you found it.
Stealth is not required down this path as very few muggles use it... Oh by the way have I mentioned the NETTLES !!
