Prirodni pamatka Za Humny predstavuje piskovcove skalni utvary ve smisenem lesnim porostu v jihovychodni casti Hostynskych vrchu (celek Hostynsko-vsetinska hornatina, okrsek Rusavska hornatina). Skaly jsou situovany na hrbetu a jiznim svahu vrcholu Skaly, asi 0,5 km severne od obce Drzkova. Jednotlive skalni utvary tvori stejne, strme uklonene lavice hrubozrnnych arkozovych piskovcu az drobnozrnnych polymiktnich slepencu lukovskych vrstev solanskeho souvrstvi (stari svrchni krida - svrchni paleocen) racanske jednotky magurskeho prikrovu Zapadnich Karpat v pruhu antiklinalniho pasma Kuzelek - Kremenicna.
