Geocache Description:

Built in 1974 Vilnius Bus Station is believed to be the largest in the Eastern Baltics. As far as I know the dolomite from Pakruojis area in Northern Lithuania was chosen to decorate it.

Buses go everywhere, they are relatively cheap and convenient way to get you to anywhere in Lithuania. You can get a ticket at a counter, bus driver will also sell it right in the bus or you can try booking it online. Follow instructions and hit Show Races when you are through with the route selection. Rather than a bus race movie you'll get presented with a time table which is a little complicated to use and is inaccurate at times, but you are always welcomed to dial 1661 from your cell phone and a lady in her soft voice will always provide you the most updated information for a fee. Oficially you are not allowed to take a disassembled and unpackaged bicycle with you on a bus, but if you see the luggage storage is sufficient, ask a driver to take it along. Be polite and persistent and your bicycle will travel with you for free. Nice drivers that take your bicycle deserve a small tip at the end of the "race" - typically a fee for one beer or maybe two if you travelled all the way across the country.

The Hotel is a few minutes walk from the terminal. To avoid jumping over the fence I would recommend crossing the backyard of a local police station at waypoint provided. The area is slightly residential, use your geoskills to stay unnoticed.

TB Hotel rules are simple:

1. Guests may check in 24 hours a day

2. No loud music after 10PM

3. No smoking
