Geocache Description:

Lake Martha is a 40 acre lake northwest of Lake Cassidy.

Snohomish County Parks Dept. The site provides a variety of habitats which include a hardwood forest and an abundance of flora and fauna. The site, which completely encompasses the 40 acre Lake Martha, has a sphagnum bog that supports growth of the few-flowered sedge, a rare and sensitive plant species. Wildlife using the site include black bear, osprey, eagles, and the pileated woodpecker.
The cache is a 50 cal ammo can with a logbook and pen. It took me about an hour to hike in, place the cache and hike back out to my truck. I had on tennis shoes but when I hike back in to check the log book I will be wearing boots. Bring you camera and take some photos to share. Please mark your waypoint at you car or truck and use trackback. "Cache seekers (hold harmless the cache owner) and assumes all risks and responsibilities involved in seeking this and any cache."
