The beach of Komos is charming and uspoilt and the Caretta-Caretta tortoises use its fine golden sand to lay their eggs.
Komos was the port of the ancient Minoan city of Phaestos and the remains of this old Minoan harbour lie a few meters away from the beach.
The cache
You can park on the SW side of the cache area, over the beach by the small church of Agios Panteleimon, at: N 35 00.596 E 024 45. 664.
You'd better wear good shoes because there are thorns and stones on your way.
The cache is a plastic container wrapped in a plastic bag. It contains a logbook, a pencil, the Geocaching note in English and Greek and some goodies to trade.
Enjoy the view!
