The cache is hidden near the entrance to the Museum of Genocide Victims. Come visit the place where hundreds of people were executed here, thousands tortured and sent to exile. Get yourself acquainted with the spooky cells and the basement corridors, see authentic telephone monitoring equipment KGB was using a while back.
Several institutions share the building now, the museum only occupies a small portion of it. On my recent conversation with the staff of Occupation Museum in Riga they mentioned Vilnius KGB museum badly lacks some publicity, this cache is a little contribution geocaching can offer.
The Museum is open Sundays 10AM - 5PM and Wednesdays through Saturdays 10AM - 6PM. Admission 6Lt adults, 3Lt schoolyouth, students and retired.
GPS reception is poor there, trust the hint rather than your receiver display.
It is a busy place blah blah blah.
