Located on the Boardwalk. The Board walk is wheel chair accessable but the cache is not.
This new boardwalk has opened to bring everyone out to see the Darlingtonia plants in the Fen.
There are also many wild flowers in the area along with many Azalea plants that smell wonderful while strolling down the boardwalk this time of year.
Cache is a small tube approx 1/2"x 1.5" long made to blend into its surrounding. The cache site can be reached by wheelchair but accessing the cache would require assistance.
This is an eco sensitive area so there is NO need to leave the boardwalk to find this one.
Please replace the container as you found it to keep it muggle free.
The day we planted the cache there were four others cars and about ten people in just the short time we were there. As this is a new attraction it is getting heavy usage. Be stealthy.
Cache is a log only so bring you own writing stick.
The trail head has a bathroom and parking for wheel chair access. The main parking is located at the bottom of the hill and across from the access road. A short uphill climb on pavement is required to access the trail head.
