Geocache Description:

This cache is intended to appeal to children but anyone can seek it. It is a two stage cache and you must solve a puzzle to determine the final location.

I’m not old enough to have listened to the old radio shows but was inspired by the scene in “A Christmas Story” where Ralphie locks himself in the bathroom and works furiously with his decoder ring to discover Annie’s secret message.

To find this cache, you must first be able to answer this riddle:
I get wetter the more I dry. What am I?

You don't need to tell me the answer to the riddle, just remember it when you reach the first stage of the cache.

Once you are sure you know the answer to this riddle, proceed to the first cache location to receive instructions on how to find the final cache location. The final cache is loaded with small toys.

Bushwhacking Alert: This area is heavily used by paint ball players and others so I placed the cache off of well beaten paths. There is some hilly terrain and loose gravel so it may not be appropriate for very small children.

There are two places to park near this cache. There is a small pullout near the corner of Eagle River Loop and Yosemite or you can park in the lot behind Eagle River High School.

Good luck and remember - Annie is counting on you!
