The cache is situated near the church of Kiiminki in Kirkkoniemi. When considering the place for the Kiiminki Church, one of the trunks meant for building the church was left drifting in the Kiiminki river. Where the trunk would stop drifting that would be the place of the church. The Kiiminki Church was built in 1760. The church and the graveyard is surrounded by a stone fence which is built by the members of the church.
