Maqluba Traditional Geocache

The place is easy to find. However to find this cache, some climbing is required and some movement in rough vegetation. Once the correct paths are found, it should be ok. Good luck!

Il-Maqluba hole was formed in 1343 when the roof collapsed on a massive cave. It left a ‘Solution Subsidence Structure’ - a crater hundreds of feet across and between 40 and 50 metres deep. Legend says that when this accident happened, the chapel of St.Matthew was already there. The locals beleived that it was the act of God that had spared their chapel.
