Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a deep valley where you can find the clear waters that flow and create "Rio Ave". To get there you should take the road that connects "Vieira do Minho" to "Agra", a very ancient village that deserves a relaxed visit.

About one or two kms before Agra, you will cross a small bridge with a little house on the left. You should park your car there and prepare for the 30 minutes journey to the cache (upstream). You should follow the trail that goes on the right side. It's about 50 meters till you get to the rocks. From then on it's jumping from rock to rock.

Attention: avoid bringing the kids and dogs with you. It's relatively easy for an adult, but highly dangerous for a child or a pet animal. We took our dog and he fell from 3 meters high... fortunately to a lake. And avoid going in rainy or wet weather, unless you do want to hurt yourself.

The cache is hidden in a small crack in the rock. It's a "mokambo" glass jar in a blue plastic bag. Inside you will find the usual informative paper for people who don't know what is geocaching, and three little presents.

The landscape is simple gorgeous and I'm sure you will love the adventure. Do stop at Agra for a quick visit, and bring some food with you. You will not find any in the area.
