victorymike: Today I was running an errand in Jackson and stopped by on my way back home. I picked up the first stage and the final cache. Took my frog for a walk in the park today. Stopped by the office and had them pull the cache page. There was a travel bug in this cache and I will grab it soon and move it along. Reason for archiving: It has been out for a year, per the MGA guidelines...and we are moving to Marquette. Many thanks to everybody who Leapt the Frog at the Mills. I enjoyed reading your log entries.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed as part of the 2009 Geocaching Adventure,
a geocaching game placed by MiGO members as a tribute to the
Metroparks Geocaching Adventure series.
In order to complete the 2009 Geocaching Adventure,
you will need to find the 12 caches hidden in the different Metroparks.

Inside the cover of each Geocache you will find two words. These are to be placed on the appropriate spaces of a crossword puzzle found on the Geocaching Adventure 2009 Brochure found here. We will be holding a geocachers picnic at Indian Springs Metropark on September 12th. Watch the Geocaching Adventure 2009 Web site for more details.

This is a 2 stage multi cache with a total round trip distance of 1.14 miles along the newly paved hike-bike path that is on the Western bank of the Huron River. Leap past UMC's 5th cache at N42 23.168, W083 54.678. Leap across the bridge over the Huron River. And leap down the trail to find the first stage. Both the first stage and the final cache are located approximately 50 feet off of the paved trail. They are not too tricky. The goal here is to enjoy yourselves.The trail takes you along the Huron River and the many mills that were once located here which gave this place its name.

This cache is located within Hudson Mills Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system.
A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $20. Senior Permit $12. Daily Permit $4.
