Geocache Description:

A simple off-set micro, in the traditional type of container, found close to this lovely old church in a far corner of this small hamlet.

This is an interesting church. The tower dates to mid-13th century and the chancel was originally built in the 16th century and rebuilt in 1833 during a major restoration. The buildings are constructed of flint and limestone, and roofed with welsh slate. The gated porch of 1833 has diagonal buttresses carried up to pinnacles, hollow chamfer Tudor arched door and pointed niche in gable over. To the right the aisle has a two-light ogee-headed window in a square surround, the east window of the aisle is circa 1400 and is pointed with two ogee cusped lights, string course at eaves level and a plain parapet with saddleback coping. The north side of the nave has a central three-light 16th century window with interlaced pointed heads and hoodmould, to either side is a three-light cusped window with dripmould. The west end has a three-light 16th century window with hoodmould.
