Zelišca in sladkarije / Herbs and sweets
SLO Blizu reke Sotle, ne dalec od glavne ceste, ki povezuje Obsotelje z ostalimi kraji Slovenije in Hrvaške, pod goro Rudnico, se nahaja zaselek, v katerem stoji velicastna cerkev in ob njej samostan. Od nekdaj ga domacini poznajo pod imenom Olimje. Vsako leto obišce ta kraj na tisoce domacih in tujih gostov, ki pridejo letovat v Terme Olimia v Podcetrtku ali v Rogaško Slatino. Tem se pridružijo še izletniki, romarji, pohodniki in popotniki. Barocna cerkev s samostanom naredi velicasten vtis na obiskovalce. V samostanu živijo redovniki sv. Franciška - manjši bratje ali minoriti, kot se v Sloveniji uradno imenujejo. Mnogi obiskovalci doživljajo Olimje kot oazo miru sredi vse bolj hrupnega sveta. Verni najdejo svoj duhovni mir v tihi molitvi pred Marijino podobo v cerkvi. Ljubitelji narave posedajo po klopeh okrog samostana in pustijo, da jih nagovori lepota Božjega stvarstva, ki je v Olimju še ohranjeno. Bolniki se ustavijo ob zdravilnih zelišcih in išcejo »pravo rož’co« za svoje zdravje. Otroci se zazrejo v ribnik pred samostanom in uživajo ob pogledu na množico rib. Mladi in stari pa radi poklepetajo s katerim od bratov in nemalokrat se zgodi, da si ob takšnem srecanju olajšajo tudi svojo dušo. Natives know it by the name Olimje. Every year thousands of domestic and foreign tourists visit Olimje when they come for holidays in Terme Olimia in Podcetrtek or Rogaška Slatina. Among the tourists are also troppers, pilgrims, hikers and travellers.The Baroque church with a cloister makes a majestic impression on visitors. In the cloister are living monks st. Francis, also known as minorits, as they are officialy named in Slovenia. Most of the visitors experience Olimje as an oasis of peace in the middle of a more and more noisy world. Believers find their spiritual peace in silent prayer in front of image of Maria inside the church. Lovers of nature can sit on the benches around the cloister and let the beauty of God's creation touch them. The sick can stop at the healing herbs and find ''the flower'' for their health. Children can percieve in fish pond in front of the cloister and enjoy the view crowd of fishes. Young and old love to chat with the monks, and it's not so rare that they relieve their souls meeting them. There is a chocolate factory and store not so far away. Their tradition of making chocolate goes back to the19th century. Von den Einheimischen wird diese Ortschaft seit alters her Olimje genannt. Dieses Dorf wird jährlich von tausenden heimischen und ausländischen Touristen, die ihren Kururlaub in den benachbarten Heil- und Thermalbädern Olimia in Podcetrtek und Rogaška Slatina verbringen, besucht. Zu diesen gesellen sich täglich zahlreiche Ausflügler, Pilger und Wanderer. Die Barockkirche samt Kloster hinterlassen einen erhabenen Eindruck beim jeden Besucher. Brüder hier gehören zum Minoritenorden, also den minderen Brüdern des hl. Franziskus von Assisi. Inmitten des hektischen Alltags erleben die meisten Besucher Olimje als eine Oase der Ruhe. Im stillen Gebet vor dem Antlitz der hl. Maria in der Kirche finden die Gläubigen ihre seelische Ruhe. Die Naturfreunde sitzen auf den Bänken herum um das Kloster und lassen sich durch die Gottesschöpfung, die in Olimje noch erhalten ist, inspirieren. Die kranken suchen im Heilpflanzengarten das passende „Kräutlein“ für die Gesundheit. Kinder bewundern die zahlreichen Fische im Teich vor dem Klostereingang.
