The Cache is located on the northern side of the beautiful Sheepshead pennisula overlooking Bantry Bay. We would recommend that hill walking gear is worn as the terrain can be quite muddy depending on the weather. However it is worth it for the magnificent scenery.
Follow the direction for Crimea, Coppermines, The Cove. Please follow the official markers.
The cache is about a 30 minute walk.
If you want to continue the full loop walk it will take about 2.5 - 3 hours. This is well worth it as there are remains of a 19th century copper mine. Although the miners path at the cliff edge and the fenced off shaft holes are clearly marked with warning signs - PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL.
Tupperware box - Please be careful to close it properly. Contains Shells, Knitted Chicken, Pen, Disney Pluto, Disney Donald Duck, Toy Cock Roche, Key Ring, Princess Doll. Notebook and pencil.
