Geocache Description:

This is on the side of the road but plenty of parking space.

I love photo Opps. that is what this one is, a photo op. It's really cool, I remember when I first saw this I just thought it was the neatest thing this little town had to offer. Well I was wrong but I still think it's way cool! Take a picture and post it!

Please be careful when poking around to find the cache. I would'nt want anything to jump out and bite you! You are looking for a large prescription bottle, it's painted brown has a log book and room for small trade items but BYOP.

It is on the side of the road but there is plenty of space for you to park. It's not too busy on this road but busy enough to where you need to keep a close eye on children. It's not uncommon for people to be here but it's on a curve so Please use caution.

Have fun and don't forget the picture!

Thank you Marvall26 for the history on the shoe rack:

I'm from Martindale so it was esy for me to find it hence the name. This shoe rack got started back in the early 90's as a joke. My older brother and his friends were walkin from the river and one of them decided to leave his shoes on the post. The post was then part of a fence that never made it. Everytime the school bus drove thru there, my brother's friends would laugh and point out whose shoes they were, and in time, the rest of his friends started adding shoes to the post.
