Cache muy cerca de Bucareli en la Sierra Gorda - Querétaro
Cache really close to Bucareli at Queretaro's Sierra Gorda
(ENGLISH AT BOTTOM) Este caché está muy cerca de Bucareli. Puedes llegar de 3 maneras, todas desde otras localidades de la Sierra Gorda de Querétaro:
1) Por San Joaquín bajando por un increíble paseo de unos 35 Kms de terracería. Podrás ver unas vistas increíbles de la Sierra, saliendo desde un bosque a 2,600 msnm bajando hasta 950 msnm a una zona árida en donde se encuentra el río Extoraz que se muestra como un verdadero oasis. Tendrás que realizar un cruce del río (se recomienda un vehículo apropiado) para tomar el camino de subida a Bucareli. El Caché está junto al camino de subida. Esta opción es muy recomendable cuando no es época de lluvias ya que de lo contrario no podrás pasar por el río.
2) Bajando de la carretera que va de Peña Blanca a Pinal de Amoles, justo en donde se encuentra la Puerta al Cielo, se encuentra la bajada de terracería hasta Bucareli. Bajarás también de unos 2,700 msnm a 950 msnm en unos 26 Kms. Pasarás por pequeñas rancherías y llegarás a Bucareli en donde se encuentra la Misión inconclusa que resulta interesante para visitar. De ahí recorrerás un poco hasta el sitio. Un carro normal puede llegar sólo deberás tener cuidado con algunos tramos de la terracería.
3) Si te gusta la emoción, podrás llegar (SOLO durante la temporada de SEQUÍA) con algún vehículo 4X4 o ATV desde Peña Blanca hacia Higueras para tomar el camino del río Extoraz por 30 Kms hasta Bucareli. Este camino es una belleza que pasa por cañones increíbles y con manantiales que nutren al río de agua cristalina pero deberás tomar las provisiones pertinentes por el camino que en ocasiones podrás encontrarte cruces del río con profundidades de aproximadamente medio metro en época de sequía.
Disfruta el camino... y si tienes tiempo podrás quedarte a acampar en algún sitio cerca de ahí ya que vale mucho la pena conocer este rincón de México. Por cierto, trae pluma ya que no tenía alguna para dejarla dentro del caché.
ENGLISH: If you really want to know a beautiful part of Mexico you should try to get this cache. It is located in the middle of the desert part of Sierra Gorda at Queretaro. If you want to get there you need to get an appropriate vehicle. An ATV / 4X4 is strongly recommended since from any of the 3 ways to get there you should drive around 19 miles by dirt roads from places at around 7,800 feet down to 2,800 feet with marvelous views of Sierra Gorda. There are 3 ways to get the place, all from other Queretaro places at Sierra Gorda:
1) From San Joaquín to Bucareli you'll find beautiful views an acceptable road until you need to cross a river. From there you'll need to get the road up to Bucareli. The cache is nearby this road.
2) From the highway going to Pinal de Amoles you will find the dirt road that goes to Bucareli. You will like to visit the museum at Bucareli. From there you need to go the road that goes to the Extoraz River to find the cache.
3) This last option is the best! However it is strongly recommended to use it only when is not a rainy season since you need to take the Extoraz River close to Peña Blanca going to El Oasis at Higueras. From there your will drive till Bucareli by the river. The water is excellent and canyons are just great...
