BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO FIND THIS CACHE
There are a couple different ways to approach this cache. The best
way is to park at the coordinates provided and follow the trail
over the big water tubes and down towards the river.
You will find that the cache is on the other side of the river from
where you start. You will have to hop across the rocks (not
recommended for kids younger than 12).
ALTERNATE ROUTE:
Use the ALTERN way point provided on this page for the trail head
to the Ice Age Trail that starts on the west side (cache side) of
the river. It will be about a 2.5 mile hike to the cache, but at
least you will not have to hop on rocks across the river.
So, it's your choice on how difficult you wish to make this cache.
Either way you will enjoy the beauty of Grandfather Falls!
