Geocache Description:

Meriwether Lewis climbed this rock July 16, 1805 while scouting. Take some time while visiting this small park to read the signs and breathe in the history.

This cache is located near the summit of Tower Rock and is about 3/4 mile from the Tower Rock State Park parking lot. There is a well-established dirt path that goes most of the way up, but you will have to follow game trails for the last bit. You will probably break a sweat even though it is only a few hundred feet up. Once you are there, it is an easy find. The rock wall causes a lot of signal bounce so I allowed the GPS to signal average for about 15 minutes to get the posted coordinates. Keep in mind that the cache is about 50 feet west of the cliff face.
