Geocache Description:

Go from the startcoordinates 78m in 50°

Ad-Dakhla is located on the coast of Western Sahara in the south part of Morocco, on a 48km long and 4km wide tongue. Flat water makes it the ideal place to learn easily kitesurfing. And only a few kilometers away from the lagoon, you can enjoy some good open-sea wave spots, ideal for surfing.

Dakhla was foundet as `Villa Cisneros´ in 1502 by Spanish settlers during the expansion of their Empire.

In the 1920`s, the Frenche Aeropostale established an Airport as a base on the route Toulouse-Dakar. Also the Writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (The little Prince) worked here.

The cache is above a lagoon a few kilometers from Dakhla, from the startcoordinates 78m in 50°.
