Geocache Description:

Another quick and easy cache, this time at the former railway station called Craiglockhart Station. This is the sister cache to Colinton Station. The railway line still runs through the station, which still has platforms, but it is not open to the public. The cache is not at the above coordinates, but it is close by. The coordinates do however give a nice view of the railway line running through the old station.
Parking is limited, but you might just be able to park on the pavement at the above coordinates, or try and find a place on the main road or Craiglockhart Terrace.

Craiglockhart station was built for the North British Railway in 1887. Except for a short period, 1917-19, at the end of World War I, the station remained open to passengers until 1962. Craiglockhart station was between Gorgie station and Morningside Road station. The station was on the Suburban line that carried passengers through the southern suburbs of Edinburgh until 1962. The line still carries freight traffic and there were plans to re-open it to passengers, but they were rejected due to anticipated cost.

Like in Colinton Station, the final cache is camouflaged sufficiently to blend in with its surroundings. And also like Colinton Station, it is a micro cache; a small black film canister. Take care as there can be quite a few muggles about especially when there is rowing on; the cache is quite close to a boat house. The best time to search is early in the morning when it is quietest.
The Cache is at:

N 110111 110111.1010110111
W 11 1101.1100010000

You can check your answer on Geochecker.com.
Please do NOT give any hints on how to solve the puzzle so everyone can enjoy it.

Note: To open the cache, you have to push down on the lid and then turn .

Update April 2010: Craiglockhart Station now has another sister cache (Morningside Road Station), now forming a series!!
