Christ Church is just over 150 years having been built in 1856
to replace the increasingly isolated parish church of St Michael
situated next to Latchingdon Hall. Curiously despite replacing the
older church, Latchingdon churchyard is still maintained, there
being only sufficient room on the current plot for a small garden
of remembrance.
The best parking place is at the coordinates shown which is the
village hall car park where in addition to playing fields there is
also a small childrens playground. The church does lie at a busy
crossroads so please watch out for your junior cachers.
