All Saints, Creeksea

The current church was reconstructed in 1878 on the site of the original church which has been a place of worship since the 13th century. The construction used reclaimed materials and features from the the earlier church to a design by architect Fred Chancellor, so it is unsurprising to spot a similarity in finish to Steeple Church.
The parish of Creeksea is very rural and very few houses remain within the parish boundaries. The church itself is somewhat isolated sitting in an open churchyard and bounded on 2 sides by Burnham Golf Course and on the other 2 sides by Creeksea Hall. Access to the church is via a private drive belonging to Creeksea Hall.
