Geocache Description:

The 3rd Annual Geocaching Event at 4-H Camp Bristol Hills!

122 acres of private land to hide, seek and socialize on.

This beautiful natural setting will be dedicated to caching for the weekend. This event will be held on Saturday, June 20th. We are planning many of the traditional geocaching events, including special event-only hides, and a pot-luck lunch. We'll also be open to newbie cachers from the community as well, to share our sport with breif geocaching 101 classes.

We are also interested in your personal geocaching stories! There will be a display table for all of those "signature items" you've collected in your travels. Bring your wooden nickels, your lammies, your glass chiles, your signature coins, or anything else you've collected while caching. We will also have a display board for you to share your best geocaching pictures or photo albums.

For those hearty souls who enjoy a longer event, the camp is offering cachers the opporunity to rent a cabin FRIDAY night. For more information about rentals or to reserve a cabin for this event, contact the camp office at (585)394.3977 ext 407, and ask about the Cache Bash 09 Cabin rentals. Camp is not providing meals, so if you are planning to arrive early, expect to take the family out for dinner in nearby Canandaigua or Naples on Friday night. We will also be organizing an early bird breakfast on Saturday morning. The Pre-Bash Bash has been listed as it's own event here (visit link)

Lunch will be a pot-luck, and everyone is asked to bring thier own place settings along with a dish to pass. Camp will have a walk-in cooler for our convenience. Admission to the camp will set you back $5/car, and will be collected upon arrival. Logging a "will Attend" post is preferred, but if you forget to sign up, don't feel like you can't come anyway. The more the merrier. The gates will open on Saturday morning at 9:00am, and activities will run throughout the day, concluding at 6:00pm.

Check back to the Cache Bash site as we get closer to the event, as the coordinates to event-caches will be made available on that page. They will be provided via pdf or gpx file formats.
