Geocache Description:

A flashmob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief period of time, and then quickly disperse. The WWFM (World Wide Flash Mob) is dozens of geocaching events occuring at the same time all over the world.

The WWFM V will be the first time a flash mob will occur in Kanata. To claim the event, you must be present and sign the log book during this time. (Hence the difficulty level of 2.)

This year’s Flash Mob is an event within an event as it occurs in the middle of Cache-O-Max. (visit link)

Event Schedule
1250hrs - Arrive and find parking. The road at ground zero is officially no parking, but there is no event at the bank until six hours later. You may want to park in a nearby lot and walk over.
1300hrs - At exactly 1300hrs, as determined by the GPS clock, the flash mob event begins. You may then converge on the posted coordinates for the official event.
Fill out log book.
Exchange trade items.
Mingle and chat.
1310hrs - Group Photo
1315hrs - Disperse quickly and quietly, cleaning up the area as you go.

With most caches, trading food items if verboten. With this flash-mob, it is encouraged! Just think of all those poor geocachers who have been at it non-stop since 0600hrs.
