Tra olivi d’argento e vigne nobili, si snoda uno dei tratti più importanti ed incantevoli della Strada del Vino della Costa degli Etruschi. E’qui che si produce la DOC Bolgheri. Questo ”eldorado del vino italiano”, come è stato definito, trova le sue radici nella natura generosa, nel clima, e nel particolare talento dei produttori. Lungo la Strada del Vino, percorrendo un itinerario quanto mai suggestivo, con i boschi e le colline da un lato, ed il mare dall’altro, si incontrano poderi, cantine, pievi e castelli, in una cornice fastosa e raccolta al tempo stesso. Un posto d’onore spetta anche all’olio extravergine di oliva prodotto dalle fattorie locali, che bene accompagna i cibi naturali e saporiti e le gustose specialità gastronomiche.
One of the loveliest and most important tracts of the Costa degli Etruschi Wine Route winds its way through silvery olive trees and noble vines. It is here that Bolgheri DOC wines are produced world-class wines. This "Eldorado of Italian wine" as it has been called, is the result of nature’s generosity, the climate and the talent of its wine makers. Farms, wine cellars, churches and castles punctuate the Wine Route as it winds through an evocative setting of hills and woods on one side and the sea on the other, in a landscape that is sumptuous and contained at the same time.
