agricole en créant la première école d’agriculture du pays en

Pour finir, une petite statue de la vierge située
en haut du village protégeait les participants de la procession
religieuse dite de « la rogation » qui avait lieu chaque 15
aout.

Roville-devant-Bayon was the first village of
France to create a school of agriculture with the help of Mathieu
de Dombasle in 1822.
What is the second date referring to this school of

Furthermore, as many other villages of the
surrounding, Roville as egally suffered of the two world wars and

To conclude, a small statue of the Virgin located
in the top of the village was protecting the members of the
religious event called “la rogation” which was taking
place every 15th of August.
