Geocache Description:

A micro cache and dash at one of the Island's 8 'mainline' stations

We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy (cos there aren’t many Motorways in Wales!). But what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations.

Lake is one stop short off the far end of Island Line's unique railway. Running with ex London Underground carriages due to the guage of the rails this is one of the querkiest sections of the country's national rail network.
More of a halt than a station and a bit of a 'local station for local people' due to it's position away from the shops/ attractions. It is however very useful if you only want to walk half the cliff path between Shanklin and Sandown!

The container is a 35mm film cannister. Take a pen or pencil.
It is placed outside of the station boundary so is accessable 24/7.
