Simple urban-style hide. Cache is located just off of the U of I Quad, which means that it will be difficult to retrieve the cache undetected - stealth is a must! Cache is log only, and bring your own pen or pencil.
For the size of the area, Champaign-Urbana is lacking in caches, and I intend to do something about it, once cache at a time! This one is placed in the classic Chicago urban nano tradition that I was raised on.
Be forewarned: this is not the cleverest hide. You will not find this cache and call the newspapers, rave about it on the forums, or even add it to your bookmark list. This is a straightforward hide that suits its surroundings.
The difficulty varies drastically on this cache. At night, or when school is not in session, making the find should be a breeze. During classes, though, there are muggles crawling all over ground zero and surrounding areas. Those cachers looking for the ultimate stealth challenge should hit this one up during the ten-minute periods between classes. It's doable, but it's definitely quite a trick! Stealth is an ABSOLUTE must, especially when replacing the cache.
