A short but moderately strenuous hike (due to some steep sandy paths), with some rock traversal on the final leg. Probably not suitable for very young children.
Park near the start of the old jeep track at S34° 08.758 E018° 24.205 and follow the track down until you reach S34° 08.994 E018° 24.490. From here turn NW and follow the sandy/gravel path to S34° 08.981 E018° 24.461. You will have a paddock in front of you and the start of the trail to your left, marked with a large rock atop two other rocks. Follow the winding trail to an open area between some pine trees where the path turns NW towards the peak.
Continue along this path until you reach the tight bend at S34° 08.930 E018° 24.120. At this point head off the path in a NNE direction for a few meters to reach the rocks. From here it is a fairly easy rock traversal to the top, and the beacon.
The cache is hidden a few meters East of the beacon, on the lower level.
Please return along the same route as the path continuing down the NW side has been closed for rehabilitation by TMNP.
