Geocache Description:

"Former Kaichi primary school" is school construction at the Meiji period.
At the Meiji period, it is one of the very few construction that remains now though the construction of combination of Japanese and Western-style was built in the whole country as school construction.

It became national important cultural properties in 1961.

There is cache while toward the school.

There is no pen in cache. Please bring the pen.

明治時代には、学校建築として和洋折衷の建築が全国に建てられましたが、現在残っている数少ない建築の一つです。

1961年に、国の重要文化財となりました。
