João Lúcio, nasceu em Olhão a 4 de Julho de 1880 e
faleceu na mesma terra em 1918, apenas com 38
anos.
Advogado
de profissão e poeta. Politicamente foi um monárquico
convicto, amigo e apoiante de
João Franco, o responsável
por uma ditadura que ao tentar impor alguma ordem aos últimos anos
da Monarquia, foi responsável pelo crescimento dos ódios contra a
mesma monarquia e à sua queda definitiva.
Por ser um orador influente, foi eleito deputado franquista
em 1906 e posteriormente foi
Presidente da Câmara de
Olhão. Após a implantação da República, em 1910, ainda
voltou a ser deputado pela minoria monárquica.
Perto do local, poderão visitar a
Igreja
da Nossa Senhora do Rosário e a Rua do Comercio, onde
poderão observar algumas casas típicas de
Olhão.

Ventos" no jardim, o local corresponde às

escondida sensilvemente a Sudoeste da "Rosa dos Ventos" aí

- The Poet John Lúcio, was born in Olhão 4 of July of
1880 and died in the same land in 1918, he died with 38
years.
Poet and Lawyer of profession. Politically he was a convinced,
friendly monarchist and apoiante of John Franco, person in charge
for a dictatorship what while trying to impose some order to the
last years of the Monarchy, was responsible for the growth of the
ódios against the same monarchy and to his definite fall.
Because of being an influential orator, he was elected a deputy
franquista in 1906 and subsequently he was a President of the
Chamber of Olhão. After the introduction of the Republic, in 1910,
still was delegated again by the monarchistic minority.
Near to the place, they will be able to visit the Church of Our
Lady of the Rosary and the Street of the Commerce, where they will
be able to observe some typical houses of Olhão.
The Cache (micro): Near to the statue of the Poet John
Lúcio, there is a "Wind
Rose" in the garden, the place corresponds to the initial
coordinates, however the cache is not there. This one, the
South-west of the "Wind rose" is even hidden sensilvemente there
existent, distance to the cache 6 meters.
