Second Hand Lions Bridge Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 15 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

Historic bridge shown in the movie Second Hand Lions

This cache is a small plastic container located at a historic bridge. The bridge appears in the movie Second Hand Lions where Haley jumps out of the car at the end of the movie and confronts his mom to "do something for me."

The bridge is on a gravel road (county road 456) and crosses over Brushy Creek. If you look South from the bridge, you get a great view of the Coupland Church.

We put some trinkets in the cache including a VCFS (Velo-Cardio Facial Syndrome) awareness braclet. Please take the bracelet and place it in other caches to help raise VCFS awareness (www.VCFSEF.org).

A pencil and log book are included. Please sign the log and put it back as you found it. Happy Hunting!

UPDATE: Sorry to those who couldn't find it. Hopefully, you still got to see some nice scenery. I don't live in the area so it took me a while to get back there. Muggles had taken it but I have placed a new one in the same location (better hidden). To future finders, please put it back exactly the way you found it.
