CJJP #03 - Hangin' Out in Cheesequake Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This is the 3rd cache in the Central Jersey Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge. Each of the 16 caches contains a single piece of a jigsaw puzzle. Your challenge will be to find each of the caches and assemble the puzzle to get further instructions on finding the challenge cache. Please don't take a puzzle piece unless you are planning to complete the entire series. Each of these caches memorialize one of our favorite hides in Central Jersey.

This cache has been placed as an homage to Team Ekitt10's Hangin' Out in Cheesequake which is long since gone. The original cache was placed on 5/15/2003 and had a total of 42 finds and 9 DNFs in the 2 years it was available. Many of the cachers who logged this cache are folks we have heard of, in-fact they could now be considerd legends in our hobby, but most of us have probably never met them. We found this cache on 11/21/2004, it was the last of 6 finds that day in Cheesequake with fellow cachers Phil-n-Jill. At the time we were just shy of 100 finds! As the years have gone by, and our number of finds has grown, we have long forgotten many caches - this is not one of them. Why? - to this day, we have not seen any other hide like this one and IT's all in the clue.

Thanks Team Ekitt10 for this and all of your caches!

Now on to the new cache. It is a short 2 stage multi - stage one is hidden just as Team Ekitt10's cache was, however no log here, just the tudes to the final. And please be careful with stage one as it could be somewhat fragile. Don't even think about approaching this one from the Parkway! We hope you enjoy this cache as much as we did the original!

FTF gets a rare and coveted Team Ekitt10 geocaching poker chip!

Congrats to trowel32 on grabbing FTF and a great log!
