Geocache Description:

A little cache at Lake Charlotte Park in Chambers county.

We discovered this park while looking for the cache that has been residing in this park for a few years. We fell in love with it. This silent lake is a lovely exception to the rule of park lakes in Texas. No motorized boats are allowed in this beauty, so the quiet is not marred by anything and the sounds of the wildlife reign. This little park is out of the beaten path, so it is not very busy. Muggles may not be an issue. Since this is such a beautiful park, we want to encourage people to share their pictures from the park. We ask you to please take some pictures as you're caching and share them here in the gallery. No pictures of the cache or the hide, please.

As we move into the summer months, keep in mind that the briars and undergrowth will make this one a bit tougher. Plus, our old friends the mosquitoes will endeavor to drain you dry.

This cache is an ammo tube for paintball. It is not water tight, but we have double bagged the log. The tube is not cammoed, so nature is doing it for us. The cache is big enough for the log, some small water proof trade items, and a TB!!! There's a tiny rubber ducky, a tiny Magic 8 Ball, some Army Men and the TB. Please be sure to secret the cache again after you've found it.
