Geocache Description:

Nice hike on easy trail with about a 400 feet elevation change, nothing steep until you get to the cache site. About a .7 mile hike from parking.

Looking for a mid-size or quart size lock-n-lock container hidden about 20 yards off trail. Cache is placed about 50 yards outside of the Blue Ridge Parkway boundry. Made sure of that when I found a tree with boundry marker and then went past to a good locating. This is a nice hiking trail that lead across Woods Mountain. Not sure, but this may be part of the Mountains to the Sea trail as it is marked with white painted circles on the trees. Trail marker at the parkwasy doesn't say the name of the trail. You can park at Buck Creek Gap where the Parkway crosses NC Hwy 80 at the Yancey/McDowell County line.
