Na uvedených súradniciach nájdete mohutnú storocnú lipu, pod ktorou
stojí renesancný pomník.
Podla povesti sa nedaleký hrad Zborov velmi zapácil kniežatu
Rákoczimu a nútil jeho majitela, aby mu ho predal. Ten nakoniec
pristúpil na cenu 30 000 dukátov, ale dal si zdanlivo nesplnitelnú
podmienku, aby mu do roka zaplatil mincami s obrazom Rákocziho
razenými v Sedmohradsku v jednom roku. Kedže bežne sa
tolko mincí vyrazilo v celom Sedmohradsku za niekolko rokov, hradný
pán bol presvedcený, že sa to nemôže podarit. Žial
mýlil sa. Presne do roka a do dna dohodnutú sumu dostal a hrad
musel odovzdat novému majitelovi. Ked skormútený odchádzal z hradu,
otocil sa, aby ešte raz videl svoj milovaný hrad, a od
žialu mu puklo srdce.
Na tom mieste dala v roku 1566 vybudovat pomník jeho manželka
Anna. Postavil ho neznámy bardejovský kamenár.
Na pravidelnom šesthrannom kamennom podstavci stojí na troch
polygonálnych stlpikoch trojstranná baldachýnová stavba so
strieškou. Na jej jednotlivých stranách sú umiestnené tri
pieskovcové tabule. Na prvej z nich je reliéf stojaceho rytiera v
renesancnom brnení so zástavou v pravej ruke a latinský nápis. Na
druhej je latinský text oznamujúci, že pomník dal obnovit jeho
zat v roku 1590. Na tretej tabuli sa nachádza reliéf
ukrižovaného Ježiša Krista, po stranách s
klaciacim mužom v brnení a klaciacou ženou,
znázornujúcich zrejme obnovovatelov pomníka.
Pamiatkari na túto vzácnu a zaujímavú stavbu akosi zabúdajú. Jeho
posledná oprava sa uskutocnila v roku 1942.
Na tabuli s rytierom najdite meno majitela hradu a spocítajte pocet
písmen v jeho mene A.

On given coordinates there is a hundred years old massive lime-tree
and under it there is a renaissance memorial.
According to legend nearby Zborov castle appealed to prince Rákoczi
and he forced its owner to sell it to him. The owner agreed with
price of 30000 ducats but he stated apparently unrealizable
requirement to pay the price within one year by coins with Rákoczi
portrait incused in Transylvania principality in one year. Normally
such amount of coins was incused in whole Transylvania within
several years so castle owner was sure that his requirement could
not be realized. But he was wrong. Exactly in a year he obtained
agreed sum and he had to pass his castle to new owner. When he
sorrowful left the castle, he turned back to see his beloved castle
for last time and his heart was ruptured for sorrow.
His wife Anna ordered a memorial for him and it was build at this
place in 1566 by unknown stonemanson from Bardejov.
The monument is triangular baldachin building with roof and three
polygonal pillars built on regular hexagonal stone footstall. There
are three sandstone tables on its sides. In first of them there are
a relief of standing knight in renaissance armour with flag in his
right hand and latin petrograph. In second one there is a latin
text which informs that this memorial was renovated by his
son-in-law in 1590. In third table there is a relief of crucified
Jesus Christ on both sides there are kneeling man in armour and
kneeling woman, maybe the renovators of the memorial.
This rare and interesting building is forgotten by
conservationists. Its last renovation was in 1942.
In the table with the knight find the name of the castle owner
count the number of letters of the name A.
