One of a series of caches which can easily be done in a days drive around Loch Ness - total distance of approximately 75 miles. The drive is best done in an anticlockwise direction, using the A82 from Inverness to Fort Augustus and the B862 from Fort Augustus to Inverness - this is the best direction to travel for easy parking. All the caches are a short distance from the available parking, unless otherwise stated.

This cache takes you down to the shore of Loch Ness onto a small promontory beach, about ten minutes walk. From here you get a great view in both directions along the loch. The parking area is a forestry road end with enough space for several cars. Please do not block the gate. The parking is on the opposite side of the road from the loch. Please take care crossing the road.
Start at the gate to the field and follow the track right down to the beach and then along to the viewpoint at N57° 13.319’ W004° 34.439’, from here follow the GPS to the cache.
