Geocache Description:

This cache is the first in a four part series leading up to Criffree's 1000th find.
Good parking at the posted Coordinates.
Park hours from 7 a.m. to Dusk.

Looking for some adventure, Captain Cliff towed his 25' boat to this parking spot and entered a previously unexplored portion of GBP Creek.

On a heading of true North, Captain Cliff managed a speed of 6 knots for approximately 5 minutes 33 seconds until the bow of the boat got wedged in-between a rock and a hard place. The sudden jolt knocked loose both of his backup paddles and he saw them slowly float away. In an effort to dislodge his boat, Capt. Cliff let the back of the boat swing perpendicular to the prevailing current (north). Now the boat was really stuck. The bow was still wedged tight and the aft was now stuck against a tree. He tried and tried to get unstuck, but all he could do was watch the sun setting behind the boat.

Deciding to make the best of the situation, Captain Cliff decided to place a cache just aft of the boat.

Help Captain Cliff get loose and you'll be rewarded with a cache find.
