Location........Fuson (John Alva, MD) CA
Activity.........Spelunking Cache Event

The listed coordinates will lead you to a parking area in this CA.
From here our group will then proceed to explore 2 caves, Lowell and Little Smittle.

Little Smittle Cave will involve a nearly 1/2mi round trip walk through lots of mud and a small stream that runs nearly the entire length of the cave. Depending on recent precipitation, we could find that the stream might possibly be as high as 3' deep at one of the crossing points. There is no crawling required to explore this cave.

The trek into Lowell Cave will be somewhat easier. Although there is a stream in it too, it is not nearly as deep and this cave doesn't have all the mud to deal with either.
One thing this cave has that Little Smittle doesn't have is a low ceiling. So low that we will probably be reduced to crawling to reach the end of it.

After we have toured both of these caves the official event will conclude.

**********SMITTLE CAVE BONUS TOUR**********

I have obtained a Special Use Permit for access into Smittle Cave(Missouri's 5th largest).
This tour will begin after the official event is over.
If your interested in going on this Bonus Tour, then just state that in your log.
Since MDC has limits on the number of people allowed into the cave at any one time, my permit has been issued for 20 cachers.
You just need to state in your log if you wish to attend this Bonus Tour. I will take those interested in going on this tour on a "first to post, first to go" basis until all 20 positions are gone.
Since I count as one of those, this leaves 19 available. You also need to state how many are to be included with your Geocaching name.
This cave tour will include all the terrain that was encountered in the other two caves and even more so.
We can also expect nearly 2mi of walking and crawling at times on this one.
