Die Eifel wird seit Jahrmillionen vom Vulkanismus geprägt. Vor etwa 40 Millionen Jahren waren die ersten Vulkane in Boos aktiv. Die letzten vulkanischen Aktivitäten liegen nur etwa 8.000 - 10.000 Jahre zurück. Im Bereich der Kratertour, einem rund vier Kilometer langem Wanderweg, findet man insgesamt 8 Schlackenkegelvulkane und zwei Maare die zeitweise sogar nebeneinander tätig waren. Rund um die Booser Maare befinden sich 35 Info-Tafeln zum Vulkanismus und zur Tier- und Pflanzenwelt. Unterhalb des Booser Eifelturms findet Ihr eine sehr beeindruckende Lavawand mit wellenartigem Muster.
Zum Loggen dieses Caches beantworte die folgenden Fragen (per E-Mail am mich, nicht im Log):
a) Wie schwer war die vulkanische "Bombe" die aus dem Schlot geschleudert wurde?
b) Wo kam die "Bombe" her?
Sind die Bedingungen erfüllt, muss keine Log-Erlaubnis abgewartet werden. Ist eine der Bedingungen nicht erfüllt muss der Eintrag jedoch gelöscht werden.

English:
The Eifel has been shaped for millions of years by volcanism. The first volcanos in Boos developed before aproximately 40 million years. The last volcanic activities were before 8,000 – 10,000 years. Within the range of the "Kratertour"; (crater route), an approximately four kilometers long walking way, one finds altogether 8 cinder cone volcanos and two Maare the occasional to one even next to each other was active. At the Booser Maare there are 35 information boards to volcanism and to the animal and plant world. Below the Booser Eifelturm (Eifel tower) you find an impressing lava wall with a wavelike pattern.
To log this cache you have to fulfill the following task.
Answer this questions by e-mail not in your log text:
a) How heavy was the volcanic "bomb" ?
b) Where does the "bomb" came from ?
You don't have to wait for permission to log this Earthcache. I'm sorry but if one of the conditions isn't fulfilled your log has to be deleted.
