Our kids, 4 and 7 years old, wanted to hide a cache of their own, so we worked together to make this set-up and to find a good hiding spot. 11/30/13 The kids are now 9 and 11. A new container is in play as of today.
Replaced cache on 11/30/13. Replaced the can on 7/31/10. Now in an easier to spot camo-ed tin can. The original camo job for this cache did not hold up to the recent rains. So we went out today and reworked the container.
I think the new camouflage will likely make this an easier find, so I am knocking it back down to a 1.5 star difficulty level.
Original contents: Scroll sized log, 4 mini pencils (take one if you wish),a butterfly eraser, small screwdriver and a really cool geocoin.
