St. Mary the Virgin
Another contribution to this series, started by sadexploration, is St.Mary the Virgin Shalford.
The original church, mentioned in the Domesday survey, no longer exists. An early Victorian church now stands in its place. St Mary's was built in 1846
A ring of eight bells are in this tower.
A short multi-cache. The cache is not within the churchyard so do not try and look for it there.
At the given co-ordinates find the grave of Jesse Ferguson's wife, who died on AB/CD/18EF
The cache can then be found at: N51 13.ABE W000 34.DC(F-B)
Please avoid the busy road by walking through the churchyard to the gate in the north-east corner.
The cache has a log book only but no pen so please bring one with you.
