Geocache Description:

The last of our series of five caches linked to the beautiful Rocky Valley along the Trevillitt River. Caches V, IV and III would make a sensible walk to do together, being about a 15 minute walk down the river between each of them. You can continue then to I and II although this would include a bit of walking on the road and a much longer walk.

This is the fifth and last of our Rocky Valley series. Number one is down at the mouth of the valley, and this last one is about a mile and a half in land up the valley, with the other three being found in between these two.

Please note - the cache is not behind any stones.

If you park at the recommended parking, it is about half a kilometre to Rocky V, another half a kilometre to Rocky IV, and another half a kilometre to Rocky III, all a lovely and fairly easy walk through mostly open fields and following the river down the valley. There are lots of stiles, but it's very pretty and the river makes a lovely sound as it flows down through the rocks. If you decide to continue down to Rocky I and Rocky II from here, you need to walk on the road for a bit which is a shame, and we would probably recommend you do I and II separately, parking in the layby recommended on their own websites.

The cache is in a really pretty and interesting location. It is a small tupperware box with room for a few things and a £1 coin prize. Please be careful retrieving the cache and ensure you leave it well hidden. Please PLEASE don't remove any bricks or stones from the wall - You don't need to. Please be really careful to replace the cache exactly as you find it. It was muddy today when we placed the cache, and you need to cross the river a few times if coming from the parking spot so wellies or good walking boots are recommended.

Limited and considerate parking can be found at grid reference SX 09250 88830, about 500 metres away.

Sorry to be a bore but I'm going to say again - PLEASE DON'T REMOVE ANY BRICKS OR STONES. Thanks.
