Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the published coordinates.

Pi is a mathematical constant whose value is the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter. Pi is an irrational number which cannot be expressed as a fraction, i.e. a/b (22/7 is only an approximation). The value of pi is not periodic, which means that the numbers which follow the decimal point do not follow a regular sequence. The record for memorising the value of pi stands at 67,890 decimal places without a mistake, at the time of writing. This feat was achieved by Chao Lu of China and took just over 24 hours in 2005.

For those of us with not quite so able minds, " Oh! I wish I could remember pi! " is a useful mnemonic to remember that the value of pi is 3.141592 to six decimal places. The number of symbols/letters in each word representing each number. If you want to start memorising pi even more accurately, here is a start:

But wait, I might have made a mistake or two in the above value!
