Geocache Description:

The Cache is not at the above coordinates This is a simple one stage off-set multi, leading you to a micro, a short walk away. There is only a log and pencil therefore no room for swaps, TBs etc.

The Coordinates will lead you to a location where you can obtain some information about the old Leeds Road football ground, one of the homes of Huddersfield Town AFC. As you will see that ground is now a retail park. At that ground Huddersfield Town made their mark in football history by becoming the first club to win the League Championship three times in a row, 1923/24, 1924/25 and 1925/26. The record crowd at that ground was 67,037 for a 1932 FA Cup match v.Arsenal. They then moved to a new ground which was first named The Kirklees Stadium soon followed by The Alfred McAlpine then The Galpharm Stadium and is now the John Smiths Stadium. The record crowd at this new ground is 24,169 for a 2017 Premier League match v Leicester City
