Cette construction médiévale datant des 11ème et 12ème siècles est un vestige de château fort construit pour défendre la vallée de la Garonne. Grâce à un système de signaux optiques, complété par des courriers délivrés par des cavaliers, la correspondance entre la Tour de Guet d’ Aussaing et le Château Montpezat de Saint Martory, était assurée.
Le système général de surveillance était entre les mains des commandeurs de Montsaunès pour la garde du carrefour des Pyrénées.

Nous sommes revenus sur les lieux en compagnie d'Isa31 et de baraca31 et nous nous sommes rendu compte que la végétation était devenue beaucoup trop dense pour permettre une recherche agréable, du moins en été. Nous décidons donc de changer la position du 1er waypoint ainsi que son énigme, pour rester dans le genre "mystery". Bonne recherche !
Vous roulez sur la D 62 à Roquefort-sur-Garonne. Prenez la D 62 D direction Montclar de Comminges. Faites 30m à partir de cet embranchement et juste avant le panneau « Fin Roquefort », tournez à droite (rue du Pijoulet-attention: elle est très étroite !) et garez vous environ 200m plus loin, à la position indiquée.
Vous trouverez le chemin qui monte au château derrière le calvaire. (voir photo).
L’ascension dure environ 15mn jusqu’aux premiers vestiges. Attention en terrain glissant !
Suivez toujours bien les sentiers, surtout à l’intérieur du château, et ne prenez jamais de risques en choisissant des passages dangereux. Si vous venez avec des enfants, surveillez les bien, car certains points sont très abrupts ! De bonnes chaussures sont fortement conseillées….. Des ronces risquent de vouloir jouer avec vous tout au long du chemin : portez des vêtements adaptés. En été, souvenez vous que les serpents aiment bien les vieilles pierres!
La position donnée est celle d'un point de l'ascension.
ATTENTION : suivez toujours le chemin tracé pour parvenir aux deux boîtes, qui sont très accessibles. Ne prenez jamais de risques !
Pour trouver la cache n° 1, qui vous donnera les coordonnées du "trésor" final, lisez bien les indications suivantes :

Nous partons avec les coordonnées de l'Est :
B = nombre des talents d'or qui revenaient chaque année au roi Salomon. Vous trouverez un nombre de 3 chiffres.
Maintenant, les coordonnées du Nord :
Prenez B (qui est composé de 3 chiffres, soit XYZ)
Multipliez les 2 premiers chiffres, soit X * Y.
Multipliez le 3ème chiffre par 2, soit Z * 2.
Ajoutez ce résultat au 1er, et vous trouverez A, soit (X*Y) + (Z*2) = A
Après avoir résolu l'énigme, vous pouvez vérifier vos coordonnées

Après avoir trouvé le trésor, (terrain 4 parce qu'il "faut mettre les mains" au dernier mètre), continuez le sentier qui vous y a mené : suivez le vers l’ouest et vous arriverez au village, dans le Chemin du Château.
Sur votre parcours, vous trouverez un panneau (voir photo) vous expliquant que cette propriété privée vous est ouverte, mais à vos risques et périls et que vous ne devez y pratiquer ni fouilles, ni dégradations…C’est noté !

We came back there with Isa31 and baraca31 and we realized that the vegetation had become far too dense to allow a pleasant research, at least in summer. We decide to change the position on the 1st waypoint and its riddle, so as to stay in the genre "mystery". Happy searching!
You are on the D 62 in Roquefort-sur-Garonne. Take the D 62 D to Montclar de Comminges. Drive 30m from this junction and just before the sign “End Roquefort”, turn right (rue du Pijoulet - be careful, it’s very narrow!) and park about 200m farther, at the given position.
You will find the path going up to the castle behind the cross (see picture).
The ascent lasts about 15mn up to the first vestiges. Take care on slippery ground!
Always follow the paths, above all inside the castle, and never take risks choosing dangerous ways. If you come with children, look after them carefully, as some places are quite steep!
Don’t fail to wear good shoes…. Along the way, thorns may want to play with you: wear appropriate clothes….. In summer, remember that snakes are fond of old stones!
The position given is that of a point in your climbing.
WARNING: always follow the way to reach the two boxes, which are quite accessible. Never take risks!

We start with the coordinates of the East:
B = number of talents of gold which passed every year to King Salomon. You will find a 3-digit number.
Now, the coordinates of the North:
Take B (which is a 3-digit number, or XYZ)
Multiply the first two digits, or X * Y.
Multiply the last digit by 2, or Z * 2.
Add this result to the first one, and you will find A, or (X * Y) + (Z * 2) = A

After finding the treasure, (terrain 4 because you need "to use your hands" in the last metre) go on walking on the path which led you there: follow it westwards and you will come to the village, in the “chemin du château”.
Along your way, you will find a sign (see picture) explaining that you are allowed on this private property, but at your own risk, and that you must carry out neither excavations nor defacements….. All right!
